✅ Moldoveanca Community Hub & Café
________________________________________
Executive Summary
Moldoveanca Community Hub & Café is a grassroots initiative founded by Ana
Bocancea, a British citizen of Moldovan origin, Romanian citizen since 2011 and a
long-standing resident of Harlow. It aims to become a cultural, spiritual, and
social anchor for all communities in Harlow, regardless of residency staus,
ethnicity, faith, sexuality, learning abilities or background.
While the name Moldoveanca honours its founder’s heritage, the project is a gift
“from a Moldovian heart to all hearts.” Its core purpose is to strengthen
community cohesion, social inclusion, multicultural celebration, and emotional
wellbeing, while building bridges between generations, faiths, and cultures.

residents, revealed a strong need for:
•A welcoming, non-judgemental space
